Our rugged PDAs
Athesi offers a range of high-performance rugged PDAs for the logistics and maintenance trades. PDAs incorporate a one (1D) or two dimensional (2D) barcode reader.

1D and 2D barcode readers
1D reader
First, the 1D barcode is called “unidimensional”. It is recognizable by a series of parallel lines of different thicknesses. Several versions of 1D barcode are used, including EAN8, EAN13 or UPC. PDAs we offer are able to read barcodes in a dimension called “1D”.

2D reader
However, a new generation of barcode has appeared. Thus, 2D barcodes are identifiable as a rectangle. In addition, there are several standards including the QR code, Datamatrix, Flashcode, Semacode, BeeTagg or Aztec Code. PDAs we offer are able to read 2D barcodes.
